Alright, so here’s the deal: Wade Wilson isn’t having the best time lately. He ditched the whole mercenary gig he was doing in that costume of his. Meanwhile, life’s thrown him a curveball or two. His girlfriend dumped him and moved on with someone else, and things at his car sales job are pretty rough — his buddy Peter’s no help there either. Plus, he bombed an interview with the Avengers. Yeah, it’s been tough.
But Wade’s still got his friends around when suddenly he gets snatched by the TVA — this group tells him they’re about to erase his timeline! So what does he do? He suits up as Deadpool again for some wild adventure and partners up with a different version of Wolverine to sort this out.
After messing up a few times, he finds Logan (you know, Wolverine) who’s down in the dumps after lots of failures. They join forces to take on the TVA but get thrown into a wild place called “the Void.” It’s controlled by some crazy forces, including a wolf-faced storm named Alioth and Cassandra Nova, Xavier’s powerful twin sister.
Anyway, Deadpool’s back with all his usual quirky madness! This movie is a wild ride full of crude jokes, crazy violence, breaking that fourth wall every chance it gets — you know how it goes. It even gives a nod to those Fox-Marvel days while serving some unexpected surprises alongside Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
Picture stepping into a Marvel Universe that’s not the polished Disney version, but a throwback to the days when Fox was in charge. It feels like flipping through an old photo album, full of unexpected moments and familiar faces, giving you a strong hit of nostalgia. You know, the ones from “the void.” Remember those? Jennifer Garner is back as Elektra, which was anticipated, just like seeing Dafne Keen again as X-23. But hey, I’m gonna keep my mouth shut about the other surprise appearances. Let’s just say one includes some actor playing a superhero whose movie was stuck forever in ‘development hell’ and never made it to the big screen.
Now picture this: it’s like unleashing your inner kid with permission to see your favorite characters dropping some seriously spicy language! On another note though, what really grabs attention is Logan’s story of redemption. Hugh Jackman slips back into Wolverine’s shoes but rocks the yellow suit this time. Yet don’t expect him to turn all cheerful—he stays his usual grumpy self. Together with Deadpool, they form this quirky duo that’s oddly perfect together. Plus, since both he and Deadpool can heal themselves super fast, they basically turn their fights into a bloody animated skit without any real damage.
It pretty much sums up how this violence comes without strings attached…
In “Deadpool & Wolverine,” we’re in for a wild, bloody ride with Deadpool up to his usual antics. It’s full of digital blood splatter and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Remember that cool highway scene from the first movie? Here, director Shawn Levy amps up the fun with some crazy moments—like Deadpool taking on enemies using just Logan’s adamantium skeleton or battling alternate versions of himself in a video game-style fight.
Emma Corrin lights up the screen as Cassandra Nova, even if the script doesn’t really do her justice. Hugh Jackman does get some respect, though even his character doesn’t come out quite as polished as you’d think after “Logan.” Sure, they nod to his death in that film, but bringing back X-23 kind of takes away from it all.
But hey, who’s looking for deep drama here? “Deadpool & Wolverine” is all about fast-paced jokes, surprise guest appearances, and over-the-top action. It’s not supposed to be serious—it’s just pure chaotic fun!
